Ellen Albright

All About Ms. Albright

Education - Ms. Albright graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History.  She had a double major, history and secondary education.  Her minor was geography and social sciences.

Teaching Experience –   Ms. Albright began her teaching career in January 2001 at Conroe High School teaching World History.  That August she transferred to San Jacinto Elementary in Conroe ISD.  She was a campus substitute for one year, taught 1st grade for 14 years and 2 grade for 3 years.  This is Ms. Albright’s 19th year of teaching.  This is her first year at Cleveland Middle School teaching Texas History.

Certifications – Ms. Albright is certified to teach 1st – 8th grades in a self-contained setting.  She is certified to teach government, economics, psychology, sociology, geography, American history, World History, and Texas history in grades 6 -12.  Ms. Albright is also certified to teach ESL in grades 1-12.

Family and Background – Ms.Albright was born on the Naval base in Portsmouth Virginia. She moved to Cut-N-Shoot Texas when she was 3 years old.  As a pre-schooler, she often visited her great-grandparents in Splendora and Cleveland.  She attended schools in Conroe ISD until high school when she moved to Willis.  Ms. Albright is a Willis Wildkat class of 1993.

Ms. Albright has a 12-year-old son who will be attending Cleveland Middle School this year. Ms. Albright and her son live in Conroe with their dog Sugar and cat Opie.
