I am entering my tenth year as a classroom teacher. Cleveland is the thrid district I have worked in and I have taught Science, Math Intervention, and Reading in the past. This will be my third year at Cleveland Middle School. I taught 6th grade World Geography and Cultures the past two years, but will be my first year teaching Texas History.
Pease Communication & Technology Academy, Midland ISD 2015-2018: Reading grade 6
Newton Middle School 2008-2012: Science grades 6, 8; Math Intervention grade 8
I am married to a fellow educator, Donald Worsham, who teaches 7th grade Reading here at CMS. We have 4 children- Laura, Caitlin, Penelope, and Max, who is a student at CHS. We currently live in Silsbee, TX with Penelope, Max, 1 dog, Rocky, and 1 cat, Nyles.
Teaching is a career that tends to consume a lot of my free time, but I enjoy camping when I can. Under normal circumstances, we plan at least one family camping trip every year and we have been trying to visit at least one new State Park each year. I enjoy reading, drawing & painting (I’m not any good at it but still enjoy doing it!), crafting, and sleeping! I just started a Masters program, so I doubt I have much free time. Hoepfully I can still squeeze in some of my hobbies.
