This is my first year at Cleveland Middle School, and I am really excited to see where this wonderful opportunity takes me! I will be teaching 6th Reading.
I previously taught at Crockett Junior High for two years. My first year there was a one year internship for my Alternative Certification program with ESC Region 6. Then was hired on a second year as a fully certified teacher. Both years I taught 6th Reading.
I am married to my high school sweetheart Joshua. We will be married for 7 years in September of this year, but will have been together for 14 years in the same month!
We have one son together, Elijah. He is currently 4 years old!
One of my favorite things to do when I am not teaching is to read books. I will read a plethora of genres, from fantasy to true crime novels. I also love playing video games, preferably RPG games like Final Fantasy 7, but will also play strategy games like Magic the Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh!
I also love learning about Japan, it’s culture and it’s beautiful language. I actually took 3 years of Japanese in college.
