6th grade Teen Leadership Teacher
Core Subjects (EC-6)
Social Studies (4-8)
Trade and Industrial Education (6-12)
I joined the CMS family in August 2019 where I”m blessed to teach 6th grade Teen Leadership.
I served as a teacher and assistant principal for the California Department of Corrections from 1992 – 2001. I then served as an assistant principal and principal for the Los Banos USD in Los Banos California from 2001 – 2013 before moving to Texas. Shortly after arriving to the area I began a new career in corporate America where I served as an account manager for Allied Universal from 2014 – 2018. But my desire to return to education continued to grow, so when the opportunity to return to correctional education presented itself I immediately jumped at the chance and began working for Windham School District in Huntsville, TX until I was fortunate to be offered my current position with CMS.
Hello, thank you for checking in. I’d love to tell you a little bit about my wonderful family. My wife and I moved to Texas in 2013. We have four kids and 8 grandchildren! I have been blessed to serve as an educational leader since 1992. Doing what’s best for students, showing RanDOm Acts of KINDNESS, and helping my students succeed and achieve their goals are essential to my teaching style. Jennifer and I enJOY road trips (Did someone say, “In-N-Out”?), cruises, spending quality time with our family and friends in California, and binge watching Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime. We also have two fur-babies, a Bouvier de Flanders named Cosmo, and a Terrier mix named Peanut.
